Introduction:
Bangladesh textile & apparel industry is one of the largest in the world. It plays a major role in rapid economic growth of the country. The success of this sector is highly dependent on its export performance with ensuring good quality in international markets. The quality of a garment is related to various issues with each & every backward manufacturing process or step like spinning, weaving/knitting, dyeing & finishing & so on.
The supporting textile industries like dyeing & finishing industry has made appreciable contribution to the rapid growth of Bangladesh apparel industry. The challenges have been faced by dyeing & finishing industries like scarcity of the resources, environmental issues, cost increasing & others are the barrier for development of this sector. On the other hand, the issues related to quality, productivity and cost minimization depend on sustainable supply of skilled man power to the sector.
Foundation Course on Factory Skills Development is the first ever Industry Orientation program organized by Textile Today. ‘Knit Dyeing & Finishing’ is one of the important areas under this Factory Skills Development program where experienced industry experts will provide and share the taste of industry during the course of their study itself, which will give our trainees a real practical exposure – not just a course. They will be given training on various job-related aspects to give them an advantage in placement & business opportunities.
